I think I’ve fallen out of practice with inking, Aw well, no matter. That’s what these exercises are for!

Welp, that and to have some handy dandy model sheets to keep my characters at least somewhat consistent and not confusing  to my three readers. My numbers dwindled since last post.

Here’s to NOT drawing three eared Rashy’s and other inevitable mistakes in cartooning.

Maybe I’m just like Prince’s mother. I’m never satisfied.  I change my character’s designs just about every book and I’m just now stumbling upon a way of rendering them that I kinda like. I mean, sorta…I guess.

Aug 31

It’s been a busy time, here at Lattaland. I’ve been pushing a lot of pixels and punching a lot of walls.

As you no doubt noticed, I’ve been posting less frequently as of late. Truth be told, friends, most of the work I’ve been doing would bore the pants off the lot of you, or, in some cases, bore the pants back on you.

This doesn’t apply to you, whatever current client that just-so-happens to be reading this!

Anyway, here’s screen caps and designs for some flash animation that the client would prefer (and rightfully so) that I didn’t post here.

What else? I guess that’s it for now. Hang tight, true believers!

Enjoy these thumbnails before I soon wise up and take ‘em down.  Know when to say “no.”

That’s it for now, dudes!

Look, look, look at my sketchbook, won’t you? Here’s some choice nugs from a few sketchbooks back featuring one of my favorite models n’ muse, Toniet Gallego. Check her out, dudes.

See what I mean?

I thought I’d hetero up this page a bit with some objectivation of some women.

Torn from the pages of my sketchbook (my sketchbook that wasn’t stolen out of my car, a few months ago, thank you.)

You may wonder why I’m suddenly so interested in my own sketchbooks. Well, as it turns out, I’ve been scanning sketchbook pages  for use in a prestigious book. Hopefully my marker scrawls and ball point scribbles won’t look too awkward compared to the works of finer artist, who, I don’t know yet.

Meh! Back to the drawing board.

Jul 28

It’s been a busy time here at Lattaland much to my chagrin.

I gotta lot of projects in the crawl space, but I won’t be able to post them here.

Well, not yet at least.

In the meantime enjoy some sparklers from yours truly.

Jul 17

According to google analytics, my sketchbook pages get the most views over all my other crap (?!?)

Looks like I did a little more Drinking than drawing at the last “Drink And Draw.”

Oh well, there’s always next month.
